Its been a while- my bad. I guess a few things have happened- I moved house and studio into one (not recommended moving two lots of crap at once), but now we are happy here in Yarraville. Such a nice area- if you live in Melbourne, you would have been to the Sun Theatre or had a delicious meal somewhere.
Coop the cat is loving it too...as is Steve, in his man shed for making women's shoes. There is talk of a homemade rapid prototyping machine to 'print' his own stiletto heels (I know, hard to imagine, but trust me- its way cool)!
That's enough chitter chatter....
Here's my customised tote to celebrate Craft Victoria's 40th Birthday. Hands by Dell Stewart and Adam Cruickshank, paint and jewels by me.

I recently made a bunch of works for an art project called
Insert Coin Here- vending machines full of art (and craft) filled balls for $2. It was part of fashion week here in Melbourne, but i'm hoping Nella and Kim decide to do it again.
Since there was no funding for the work, i decided to jazz up some scraps left over form my recent crystal and rock inspired ranges- i called it "what do you expect for two bucks"
Anyway, i kinda dig it so i will be making more..plus it saves my off cuts from going to the bin.
Here are a few bits...

yep- its a bad graphics job- but that's what i was going for.
this is my window installation at craft victoria. they asked me to do it just before christmas so i worked all through the break (except stupid hot days) and this is what i came up with in the short time.
some pieces will be seen again...and some are never to be repeated.
i can now say 'i make rings!' it was not as scary as i thought and you be seeing more of these in various colours. i'm also working on my egyptian range and there will be snake rings.
make my words.
so its at craft vic for another week or 2- so check it out- any time.
